Dollywood is a recently renovated late 1940’s house, with many of it’s modernist features maintained with a contemporary feel.
It has floor to ceiling windows and an internal cladded, curved wall which divides the house, adding a warmth and visually pleasing aesthetic to Dollywood.
The Interiors are inspired by the owners’ time spent travelling through California. A selection of designers such as Pop and scott, Dowel Jones, Jardan, Barnaby Lane, The Family Love Tree and Space to Create, amongst many others, adorn the property creating a curated yet beautifully relaxing atmosphere. This is all cleverly complemented by artworks from renowned artists such as: Spencer Shakespear, Stephen Baker, Caroline Walls, Dina Broadhurst and Madeline Stamer.
Each bedroom has individual character and style, taking cues from some of the owners favourite Californian hotels.
The entertainment has been thoughtfully planned and includes a record player, surround sound, Netflix, Wifi, books, DVD’s and 2 x vintage bikes.
Four bedrooms sleep six, making it perfect for families, friends, girls and couples to get together and make the most of beautiful Dollywood with it’s tree top views surrounding the house.
The incredible location close to town and the lake mean you can stroll in any direction and reach a wonderful Daylesford destination. Alternatively, guests could simply stay in and enjoy the luxuries of 100% flax linen bedding, hotel mattress toppers and the Ned Kelly wood heater.
Timber features, designer furniture, well equipped kitchen and works of modern art are well planned to help create that perfect Daylesford getaway and springboard to explore the rest of the region. Choose a favourite record, pour yourself a drink and enjoy the space.
